PENGARUH MEDIA DAN ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN PERBANYAKAN STEK RAMIN(Miq.) Kurz)(Gonystyllus bancanusThe Effect of Media and Growth Regulator Hormone on Success of Multiplication of Ramin (Miq.) Kurz) Cuttings(Gonystyllus bancanus

(Gonystylus bancanusRamin (Miq.) Kurz) is one of endangered species. The conservation of this species can be use vegetative propagation techniques. The research aims to determine the effect of rooting media and the useofgrowthregulatorstothesuccessfulpropagationofcuttingsramin.Thestudydesignusedwascompletely randomized design (CRD) with two-factor factorial pattern of the cuttings rooting media (sand + peat (1: 1 v / v)peat:cocopeat+ricehusk(2:1v/v))andthetypeofplantgrowthregulators(control(withoutplantgrowth regulators); Rootone-F; IBA). Each treatment consisted of 15 cuttings were repeated 5 times. The results showed that the media significantly affect sprouted percentage and number of root cuttings. Media mix of peat +sand(1:1v/v)yieldsthepercentageofsproutedcuttingsandthehighestnumberofroots,eachfor30.4%and 7 pieces. Types of plant growth regulators and their interactions with the media did not significantly affect rootingcuttingsofallparameterswereobserved.

Gonystylus bancanusRamin ( (Miq.) Kurz) termasuk salah satu jenis tanaman terancam punah langka. Dalam upaya konservasi jenis ini dapat digunakan teknik perbanyakan vegetatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media perakaran dan penggunaan zat pengatur tumbuh terhadap keberhasilan perbanyakan stek ramin. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorialdenganduafaktoryaitumediapengakaranstek(gambut+pasir(1:1v/v);gambut;serbuksabutkelapa +sekampadi(2:1v/v))danjeniszatpengaturtumbuh(kontrol(tanpazatpengaturtumbuh);Rootone-F;IBA). Setiapperlakuanterdiridari15stekyangdiulangsebanyak5kali.Hasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwamedia berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase stek bertunas dan jumlah akar. Media campuran gambut + pasir (1:1 v/v) menghasilkan persentase stek bertunas yang dan jumlah akar tertinggi yaitu masing-masing sebesar 30,4 % dan 7 buah. Jenis zat pengatur tumbuh serta interaksinya dengan media tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semuaparameterperakaranstekyangdiamati.
