Determinas daya cerna Rusa (Cervus timorensis) menggunakan campuran rumput (Paspalum dilatatum) dengan daun beringin (Ficus benjamina), daun Kabesak (Acacia leucophloea), atau daun turi (Sesbania grandiflora)
A digestion trial was undertaken to determine the digestibilities of deer (Cervus timorensis) feeding on grass (Paspalum dilatatum) and mixing of grass with leases of beringin (Ficus benjamina), kabesak (Acacia leucophloea), and turi (Sesbania grandiflora) treated to the four heaaads of deers of 7 - 705 months age with 12 - 13.5 kgs of weight. The individual of each feeded on pure grass (treatment A.), grass with 500 grams of beringin leaves (treatment B), grass with 500 grams of kabesak leaves (treastment C), grass with 500 grams of turi leaves (treatment D). Each treatment was given to the four animals trial in a fifteen-days period there for all the four treatment periods done in the two months on the deer feeding trial. The grass was kept available to the deers during the whole periods (ad libitum). There was no significaaant effect of the mixture food on their digestibilities. Statistically shown thaaat the coefficient of food digestibility quite similar amonag of treated deer. Quantitativeelly, the treatment B (grass with 500 grams of beringin leaves) gave the higher result on the digestibilities, its consituents are 66.76 percent dry matter, 68.36 percent organic matter, 62.26 percent crude fibre.
