Pengaruh beberap pola tanam terhadap perubahan hara tanah
In coutry like Indonesia, there are some farmers cultivating dry land on steep slope. The farmer planting their land without conservation technique implementation. In this situation erosion is one factor that caused nutrient leak process, and mostly decreasing soil fertility. The aim of this research are knowing the influence of the erosion on several cropping pattern to soil nutrient loss and decrease of harvesting yield. There are three models were tested in erosion plots with two replications. P1odel : bench terrace + super teak tree + groundnuts + red onion + setaria grass, P2 models : bench terrace + super teak + maize + red onion + Leucaena glauca + setaria grass, and the last models (P3): traditional terrace using stone, wood and coconut leaf + red onion + groundnuts. The soil sample was analized before planting and after harvesting to know the changes of nutrient content. Based on result of research, the lost phosphate and soil organic matter is seriously influenced by erosion process. The combination of bench terrace, with super teak, red onion, groundnuts and setaria grass can increase the production yield 15.84 percent, than local farmer production, because the first model can defend soil nutrient content until 135 percent and can reduce ersion 94.01 percent.
