Kajian tentang penerapan intensitas penarikan contoh dalam inventarisasi hutan secara teritris di Riau
A study on sampling intensities of terristris forest inventory was done in PT Kulim Company, Sungai Pakis Forest Complex, Bangkinang Forest District, Riau proposively selected of 100 hectares areas which is considered as source of logs production, in PT Kulim Company as a research area of this study. The standing stock in the research area was fully enumerated using continuous strip sampling of 20 meters width and the size of recording unit plots within each was 20 m x 20 m. The systematic linear regeneration sampling was 100 meters distance beetwen of plot in the strip, i. e, LS - ½ for poles, LS - ¼ for sapling and LS - 1/10 for seedling, were used for comperative study on sampling intensities, i.e. 10 percent, 5 percent, 4 percent and 2 percent. All tree species were classified according to commercial interest, i.e. Dipterocarpaceae (Shorea species and Non-Shorea species), Non-Dipterocarpaceae, other species and all species. The existing natural regeneration, both of seedling, sapling and poles, and also the number of trees and standing stock were considered as sufficeint. Sampling intensities of 10 percent for the standing stock on the consideration. The sampling error was of about 4.64 percent for all species, 6.41 percent for other species, 4.33 percent for Non-Dipterocarpaceae, 8.27 percent for Non-Shorea species and 12.79 percent for Shorea species.
