Penyakit karat puru pada Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria) di pulau Seram

A case study of gall rust disease that attacked Paraserianthes falcataria was conducted in the area ofPT Artika Optima Inti in Waisamu, Kairatu, Seram, Mollucas. The gall rust symptom by was shown as local swelling (tumefaction) on parts of plan (stem, twig and leaf) and then becomes galls to mozaic shape and was varied in size. The attack percentage in nursery level reached 100 percent already, whereas of 3 year old plantation reached 2 J, 47 percent and 5 year old plantation reached 1OO percent'also. Based on symptom observed in field and identification result in laboratory gall rust disease in that area was caused by Uromycladium sp. fungi.
