Kajian kredit Usaha hutan rakyat denganpola kemitraan di Jawa Barat

The government of Indonesia has issued a new policy to stimulate priva elopment by i providing a credit for the small scale one since there have been weaknesses in getting access to f capital. The credit is distributed in partnership model. A study on the private forest credit with partnership model was conducted in West Java and East Java to identify the obstacles in implementation of credit distribution and the benefit of credit for the farmet: The results showed that the credit for developing private forest was distributed less smoothly in these two research sites. In addition, the farmer and their partners have not enough skill in cultivation techniques, hence more intensively attention and control from the government are needed to achieve a high yielding private forest. Marketing of private forest products and sharing in the benefit between farmer and partner have not calculated in detail yet. The government has to select farmer 's partner more carefully to obtain a partner having enough capital and qualified staff (have appt'opriate skill 'and knowledge in cultivation techniques). Thereby, thefarmers could avoid thefinancialloss and the private forest business could improve the social welfare of the farmers. If the management of partnershipis conducted properly, the credit for small scale private forest will benefit the farmers significantlyand will provide additional supply of goods for industries.
