Kondisi unsur hara di berbagai umur tegakan Acacia mangium Willd di Riau

To fulfill the need of raw material for pulp industry there has been developed Acacia mangium Willd species. This species is a fast growing species and has high economic value. A. mangium usually planted on fertile soil and there is a tendency that in the next planting period or after harvested it will decrease the soil fertility. The research about the effect of Acacia mangium Willd stands to the condition of macro nutrients available was carried in the forest district at PT Arara Abadi, Riau. The aim of this study was to know the nutrient condition around Acacia mangium Willd stands. The result showed that the available of macro nutrient depend on input and output nutrient. The potency of macro nutrient in 6 years old A. mangium stands more than others for Nitrogen (N), Kalium (K), Calsium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg) except for Phosphor(P).
