Model hasil tegakan hutan tanaman acacia mangium Willd. di Kecamatan Tungkal Ulu, Kabupaten tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi, Sumatera
The objective of the research was to construct the yield models for Acacia mangium Willd forest plantation in Tungkal Ulu Sub-District, District of Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi, Sumatera. The study area is located in 103o26'-103o29' E 0o58'-1o01' S, at 20-50 m asl. The soil type is podzolic, and the annual rainfall is about 2327 mm. Based on temporary sample plots data collected, the models that resulted can be used for developing preliminary yield table. The models are: Ln Bha = -9,19139 + 0,96827 Ln Nsha + 2,00716 Ln D, Ln Vha = -5,84266 + 1,46391 Ln Bha + 2,43310 Ln H, where Nsha is number of stems per hectare (stems/ha), Nthasp is number of trees per hectare according to initial spacing (seedlings/ha), A is stand age (years), D is stand diameter (cm), H is stand height (m), Bha is stand basal area per hectare (m2/ha), and Vha is stand volume per hectare (m3/ha).
